Mr. Flick is starting the LEGO Builder's Club in January. The first task will be to connect with the astronauts on the International Space Station and build LEGO experiments and see how LEGO devices work differently on Earth than in the micro-gravity in space. The club will meet before and after school. More info to come soon.
 
 
Today four teams competed in the fourth grade reading challenge.
 
 
Third graders got a special treat today by having their fathers come and spend time reading together before school started.

“Yay!” TODAY IS RAINBOW DAY! The whole school will be wearing colors of the rainbow. Kindergarten is red , 1st grade is orange, 2nd grade is yellow, 3rd grade is green, 4th grade is blue, 5th grade is purple. Wear your colors Bobcats.

The Bethke Chess Club meets every Thursday morning before school and they have been having a great time learning and trying new strategies for winning.
 
 
Rachel and Michaela had a great time with the Bethke Chorus performing holiday songs at the Fort Collin's Foothills Mall. In fact, they even had a little extra time to do some shopping and got these miniature Christmas hats.
 
 
The Bethke Chorus enjoyed breakfast this morning to celebrate the success of the many holiday performances that they did. Parents hosted the breakfast that included bagels, muffins and treats.

Next week is the second grade will perform “The Wacky Winter Holidays!” It’s going to be great, to hear all of the holiday music. Chores will be singing after the second grade performance all of the magical melodies and some will make you laugh.

2nd Grade will perform Tuesday, December 13 at 2:00 and 5:30.

Chorus will perform Tuesday, December 13 at 2:30 and 6:30.

The Bethke Chorus will be singing at the Timnath Tree Lighting tonight at 6:30 PM in old town Timnath. Bring your warm clothes and hot-coco and enjoy this kick-off to the holiday season.
